After 77 nights, the Hood family is finally back home!

Matthew, the brave 18-year-old volunteer firefighter, survived a terrible car accident in December, demonstrating incredible courage to escape the burning wreckage.

His resilience and determination throughout his hospital stay and rehabilitation are nothing short of inspiring. As caregivers, Matthew’s mom and dad have displayed astounding strength throughout this unthinkable time.

While the road to full recovery stretches ahead, Matthew's spirit remains persistent. As an accomplished fisherman, he's eager to return to the water. Matthew, we'll be cheering you on every bit of the way, eagerly anticipating the remarkable progress (and memorable catches) that lie ahead.
